Background
Silvur helped users plan for retirement, but trust was a barrier—users were hesitant to make long-term financial decisions on a startup-driven platform. Meanwhile, credit unions had trust but lacked technology to support holistic retirement planning.
Outcomes
By building trust and delivering real value, we strengthened the bond between credit unions and their members. Users felt more confident in their financial future, with one sharing, “This makes me feel like my credit union really cares about me.” At the same time, credit unions gained powerful insights to better serve their members—a true win-win.
Role
As Director of Product Design, I led the design and implementation of a scalable design system, enabling seamless branding and fast, low-effort customization across multiple credit union partners.
Enhancing Credit Union Value with Insights
To maximize impact for credit unions, I also designed a reporting dashboard that provided real-time insights into member engagement. This dashboard allowed credit unions to:
Understand what financial topics and products their members were most interested in
Identify potential financial needs based on user behavior
Equip their teams with actionable data to follow up with personalized financial guidance
Results and Impact
